| I like the 65, since its rust free, and has new heater channels. Also looks pretty solid, tho it does need floorpans, but i think it would be a good learning experience for everyone. whatever we do i just can't wait to start tearing the damn thing apart _________________ 61 Baja 952 Berrien Sand Rail unknown Sand Rail (GOT FOR FREE) Rusty beyond all repair Sand Rail 69 Baja (GOT FOR FREE) 1929 Mercedes benz kit car on 70 bug frame (GOT FOR FREE) 74 Super beetle: No longer turbo'd at the moment ...___ .(____) (O\ ! /O) ..ll......ll.............

| What about a Squareback rat-rod...there's one for $300 in Newnan. Anyone seen this one in person? http://atlanta.craigslist.org/cto/1191866299.html _________________ 84 Vanagon 81 Caddy 71 Super Beetle 71 Squareback

The guy selling the squareback is a giant D-bag. Zabo posted that link in the heads-up section, and I offered to check it out for him. I've left the seller one email, 2 voicemails and actually talked to a lady there over the phone who said it was still for sale. She took my name and number and said "Matt" would call me back. No call backs at all. Why the hell would someone list a car on craiglist (and it's also on the local newnan classifieds) and then not call people back????? _________________ eric 1962 ragtop

Kind of a personal ebay._________________ Scott Burel "Call me if I need you" 71 Standard Beetle, "Big Bird" 74 Westfalia, "Winifrid" www.burelphotography.com**Future CS Club Member** |

| I talked to the guy last week, he was willing to meet me to go look at it, but school kept me busy. I'm going to be in Newnan Monday and Tuesday and free in the evening. Anyone want to go take a look at it with me if I hear back from the guy? _________________ 84 Vanagon 81 Caddy 71 Super Beetle 71 Squareback

| I definitely like it! How easy would it be to find parts for? Would it sit on a vw pan or it's original pan? _________________ eric 1962 ragtop

| I am not sure how we would do the pan. I was thinking maybe just build a custom pan. You could leave it on the regular pan but a roll cage with beam clamps would be needed. Parts we would just use vw or homemade..... _________________ 1964 Beetle 1966 Kombi Bryce
