We will be cruising to a local show in Sugar Hill next weekend the 17th. We will meet at Discover Mills in front of Bass Pro Shops between 8:30 and 9 then cruise over together. I think this will be a fun family show because it is in conjuction with the Sugar Hill Fall Festival. So bring the whole family and have some fun. After the show we will be cruising over to the Starlight Drive-In to finish off the day with a movie. Hope to see you all there. Here is the info on the show

Well despite the weather we had a great time today. I don't think any of us were expecting rain so nobody was really dressed for it. However, everybody stuck through it and I think it was a lot of fun. I think it was great to see the VW's out nuber the hotrods and I look forward to this show again next year. Congrats to all of the winners today

This was a nice show with alot for everyone to do, (craft booths,lots of food,activitys for the kids, etc.) I think if the weather had been more like today it would have been a huge success. The number of dubs that turned out was impressive and hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to pull it off under the rainy and cold conditions!

Thought I'd share a few pics I took while I was at the show. I was up until 1 am friday night trying to get my bug done but I had a couple minor glitches that stopped me in my tracks. Fortunately I did finally get all the "bugs" worked out and now have a whole new fuel system in the '67 and got it running like a dream sunday afternoon. So I'm ready for the next event after having the car parked for a little over 2 weeks now. Felt great to hear it finally fire up and running really good! This was also my daughter's first aircooled VW show and even though the weather was unfavorable she had fun and even got on some of the rides! What trooper! Anyways, here's a few pics I some of the cool rides at the show. Congrats to Gary and everyone who took home a trophy! Good to see a great turnout for the VW crowd!

Thanks Eric. If it wasn't so cold and wet I'd have taken more. As you can see from the black beetle photo above it's a little blurry - was probably trying no tto shake LOL! Eeeeh wasn't that bad though. Figures though, the next day I got my "bugs" worked outta the bug and finally got it all back together and running beautifully!!! I'll try to make it to one of the thursday night get togethers. Good meetin a few more of you guys! Look forward to the next show!

Gary, BTW - thanks for the tech support or just support over the phone trying to get the fuel system put back right.
