| I built my own, out of 2in square tubing. It only extended it 8 inches. Yes, I have thought of going with the heb style or truck style but it is alot more metal work than I wanted to do.

| I have already started smoothing it over, including the panels on each side of the speedo and vent holes, switch holes and the radio hole are all going to be smoothed out. I am planning to leave the glove box to hide the radio in there and I have relocated the headlight switch to the bottom next to the ash tray. I'm also planning to smooth out the ash tray as well. I'll post more pics as get some of these things done. |

| Tim, Do you have the motor with it for the price you mentioned; Or is it a roller? Also I know I asked you about cutting the winshield when we talked but I didn't realize that you put a post in the middle. How on earth will you get windshields cut for that? The post in the middle looks killer and way different from anything I've seen...would that make it a "splittie volks rod"? |

| The front glass can be cut at home with care and lots of water(air tools only). _________________ daltondragger73 : hey neil can your wife drive the rod?

| Tim, Is it a ball joint or link pin front end? Is it swing or IRS? I know you said 60's but it could have a later pan. Speaking of the pan how is the pan. Do you have seats? |

| I don't know what happened before. The car is a 74 bug with balljoint frontend and irs rear. I have a decent rear seat and some import recliners for the front that I have started installing and also have red door panels. |
